Mind Tools Celebrates 25 Years of Empowering People to Thrive
Through their ongoing commitment to providing easy to use, trusted, on-demand tools and resources, Mind Tools has been able to help ambitious people perform, manage, and lead with confidence.
To celebrate this milestone and reflect on the company's origins and achievements, Emerald Works CEO John Yates got together with Mind Tools' founders James Manktelow and Rachel Thompson to chat about how Mind Tools began, the evolution of learning and development, and the ambitious goals for the future.
John Yates also shares his own thoughts on reaching this milestone in his latest blog "25 years of empowering people to thrive at work", in which he touches on the crucial role of Mind Tools in the L&D industry.
"It's been inspiring to see the learning and organisation-development industry as a whole step up to support employee learning and wellbeing needs, with remoteness from our managers and colleagues placing a very particular emphasis on people-focused skills. The pandemic has accelerated the adoption of digital, applied workplace learning, and our research is continuously showing us how crucial the impact of L&D in the workplace is.
"One thing I am certain about for the next 25 years of Mind Tools is the positive impact we will continue to have on people's lives and careers. Our purpose has always been to empower people to thrive at work. I am proud that we have been able to do this through our ongoing research and through our commitment to developing content in line with the way that people learn for work today."
