A New Event

Nearly Fifty Free-Access Workshops and Conferences at Palexpo

Geneva (CH), April 2023 - On 31 May and 01 June, a new event will be launched at Palexpo on the digital transformations in the world of work and training in French-speaking Switzerland: The Future of Work and Learning Event.

Today, organisations and schools are facing radical changes in the way we work. The event's unique format has been designed to reflect the way hybrid work has changed a wide range of fields: the education and training of tomorrow, high-performance management, adapted work spaces, pedagogical techniques, well-being in the workplace, etc.

The event - exhibition and conferences - will target HR professionals and experts in the field of transformation and digitalisation. In this context, the professional association HR Genève will hold its first "HR Level Up" conference with the goal of supporting its 700 members during these changes.

The global health crisis forced many organisations to adapt quickly to sudden transformations in work organisation and learning. As workers return to the workplace, habits have changed, prompting companies and institutions to adopt a whole new approach. The Future of Work and Learning Event will examine how things have sped up, as well as provide practical solutions, with the slogan "No turning back".

The Future of Work and Learning Event will allow some 70 exhibitors to meet with 3,000 professionals over a 5,000 m² exhibition space, four conference rooms, and two open theaters.

The programme will cover a wide range of exciting topics related to digital transformations in HR departments. The list is extensive: talent management; performance measurement;  hybrid work; flex offices; eLearning; coaching and mentoring; change management; leadership development; succession planning; scenario and contingency planning; new cutting-edge technologies applied to learning and schools (virtual reality, artificial intelligence, metaverse); inclusion; remote team management; diversity and equality; the office of the future; latest instructional-design techniques; wellness and wellbeing; core values and good governance, etc.

Headliners will include: Gill Whitty-Collins (author), Michel Barabel (author), Mike Bollinger (Global VP, Strategic Initiatives at CornerstoneOnDemand), and Arnaud Collery (CEO and co-founder of Humanava).

For its sixtieth anniversary, the professional association HR Genève is organising the first Human Resources Conference. Called HR Level Up, this major event will take place on 01 June, right in the middle of the Future of Work and Leaning Event. It will target HR professionals and managers in the public and private sectors looking to develop their capacity to influence socially responsible and inspiring organisations.

"This event perfectly reflects the mission of our 700-member-strong professional association, which is to work towards affirming the strategic and human role of human resources," explained Christian Oberson, President of HR Genève.

The Future of Work and Learning Event is the result of a partnership between Palexpo SA and Sally Ann Moore, founder of numerous digital learning events worldwide, including Learning Technologies in Paris and eLearnExpo in Moscow. The Future of Work and Learning Event is organised in partnership with HR Genève. Access to the event is free, with registration.
