Bologna (IT), March 2012 - The STENCIL network invites science education practitioners to implement a new teaching activity inspired by one of the good practices and criteria identified in the STENCIL Annual Report on the State of Innovation in Science Education.

The STENCIL Call for Participants is aimed at schools, researchers, and all educationalists who have carried out the successful transfer of any of the good practices highlighted in the STENCIL Annual Report on the State of Innovation in Science Education.

Ten shortlisted initiatives (one in each of the nine countries participating in the STENCIL project and one for the other European countries) will be titled STENCIL National Good Practices 2012. The two winners will be selected out of the ten STENCIL Good Practices.

The winners will have the possibility to choose one of the following prizes:

  • science kits or materials for science education activities worth up to 1,000 euros
