The Future of Workplace Learning at LEARNING LIVE
London (UK), June 2017 - Jeanne Meister, Founding Partner of Future Workplace, winner of ATD's Distinguished Contribution in Workplace Learning Award, and best-selling international author and influencer, is set to deliver a keynote speech on the future of workplace learning. LEARNING LIVE takes place in central London, 06-07 September 2017. It is free to attend for learning leaders.
Speaking at the LEARNING LIVE conference in September to an exclusively invited audience of Heads of Learning, CLO's, and senior decision-makers, Meister's keynote will examine how corporate learning is becoming more personalized, curated and on-demand.
Using data from a recent research project conducted among 2,147 global HR and learning leaders, the session will explore five key questions that learning leaders should be asking:
- How is corporate learning being re-imagined for the future workforce and workplace?
- How are learning leaders using design thinking to "break" common held learning practices.
- How are companies partnering with MOOC providers to upskill key job roles?
- What are the new learning roles and capabilities needed for the future workplace?
- How can learning leaders plan for the expected and unexpected changes impacting them?
As with all sessions at LEARNING LIVE, there will be high level of audience interaction and challenges to popular thinking.
"It is an honour to keynote the enormously popular LEARNING LIVE conference," said Jeanne Meister.
"As the rate and pace of change in how organizations develop with employees continues to accelerate, corporate learning is now on the CEO agenda. It is more important than ever for learning leaders and their teams to deliver a totally new learning experience. During my keynote, I will share what the best-of-breed corporate-learning leaders are doing to partner with new stakeholders both inside and outside the organization to create learning experiences that meet the personalized needs of every employee segment."
Anticipating Jeanne Meister's keynote at the conference, Edmund Monk, CEO, Learning and Performance Institute, said, "I am very excited to welcome Jeanne Meister to LEARNING LIVE as our keynote speaker. With such a provocative topic, and an audience made up exclusively of Heads of Learning and CLO's, I expect the session to be highly engaging and though-provoking, with plenty of interaction and discussion."
