RapideL-i

Create Vast Interaction Libraries Offline

Jersey City, NJ (USA), August 2008 - In a bid to combine the advantages of offline and online authoring, Brainvisa recently added an MS Excel converter to the online rapid-eLearning tool RapideL-i. This new feature allows users to simply select the list of interactivities or templates required for a course from a given MS Excel sheet.

This Excel sheet will be a single-page authoring interface to add content to the eLearning course. One template is included in one page of the Excel sheet, thereby allowing ID's and SMEs to create vast libraries of eLearning by just filling in content on a single Excel sheet. Once the offline authoring has been completed, a simple option to import the Excel sheet back into the system and then to publish will generate a full-fledged Flash-based, SCORM-complaint eLearning course. These courses can later be edited using MS Excel or RapideL-i.

RapideL-i users can now create rich, interactive courseware without dependency on an internet connection. The feature has also proved to save development time drastically, thereby making it very easy to create vast libraries of courses very quickly.

RapideL-i is an internet-based, rapid-eLearning content-authoring platform that allows server- based collaborative development at anytime, from anywhere. Multiple users can now log on together and work simultaneously to create engaging eLearning at the speed of business. The new version is set to deliver an intuitive end user-experience coupled with a global support plan.
