EMOB - More than 400 Computer Training Videos

Toulon (F), June 2007 - EMOB, a very innovative platform for training-on-demand to help Francophones improve their software skills, has just gone online after two years of development. Computer users seeking training in Photoshop, Word, Outlook, Excel, and other applications can find exactly the video they need.

The lengths of the high-quality training videos range from a few minutes to several hours, and prices vary accordingly: from 99 eurocents to 100 euros. Package deals are also available, e.g., the Photoshop package -100 trainings and more than fourteen hours of videos - costs 75 euros. There are currently 445 videos, but the number is growing constantly.

EMOB is the project of four young Toulon natives whose eLearning blog has been attracting attention for about two years. The objective of the project was to create an innovative, video-based, easy-to-use service that adds real value for the user. Convinced that learning computer skills from books is not the most effective method and that traditional training courses are often too expensive, the idea was to launch the first video platform-on-demand.
