dp Makes Software Satisfaction Awards Shortlist

London (UK)/Munich (GER), August 2009 - digital publishing, a provider of language training software solutions, has been shortlisted for this year's British Software Satisfaction Awards for "HR & Training - Learning Software".

The nomination is based on a voting population of more than eight thousand professional end-users and purchasers of business software, making the survey one of the largest individual pieces of business-opinion research in the UK and across Europe. dp is a pioneer in web-based language training and provides corporate language-training services that help to improve the business communication skills of a global workforce.

Participants in the survey were asked to rate their business-software products in regard to four key attributes: ease of use, functionality, reliability, and value for money. The Software Satisfaction Awards are unique in that they are based on views of genuine business customers rather than a judging panel.

"We are overwhelmed by the level of support from our professional customers around the world. Making the shortlist is a compliment and accolade for the whole team at digital publishing and our channel partners in the UK", says Armin Hopp, CEO at digital publishing.

The Software Satisfaction Awards are being presented by Sift Media for the fourth consecutive year. Since their inception in 2006, the awards have served as a valued guide to the very best software systems. According to the SSA, this year's survey pulled in more than 8,100 votes, making it the biggest to date. The awards ceremony - with the announcement of the winners - will take place on the evening of Thursday, 08 October 2009 at the Royal Courts of Justice, London WC2 and will celebrate the achievements of the business-software market.
