High Demand for Mobile Learning Reported by LINE

London (UK), March 2011 - LINE Communications, a provider of learning and communications, has reported a dramatic upsurge in the number and quality of enquiries for mobile learning. Most recently, LINE helped pilot an app on iPhones and iPods designed to help sales executives explain some of the features on the C-MAX vehicles.

Following a highly successful series of major exhibitions in London and mainland Europe, LINE has received an unprecedented level of enquiries for learning materials delivered using iPad, iPhone, Blackberry, and other mobile devices. The requests are from both the private and public sectors and cover a broad range of subject types from leadership development to procedural training and soft-skills training.

The enquiries have come from organisations across the globe that have been attracted by the case studies of the highly successful mobile-learning projects that LINE completed in 2010. They have also been encouraged by a series of keynote presentations given by LINE at international exhibitions and via webinars.

Steve Ash, Director at LINE says, "This massive upsurge in interest is hugely encouraging. Last year we had a number of speculative enquiries. This year the requests are for actual pieces of work either delivered in isolation or as part of a larger blended-learning programme. Our proven track record in the design and development of learning materials on mobile devices has struck a chord with the market, and we are delighted with the quality, breadth, and scale of what we have been asked to do."
