News from Omniplex

Hemel Hempstead (UK), December 2011 - Omniplex has announced a major collaborative effort with Aurum Holdings Ltd, the largest prestige and luxury jewellers in the UK. It has further reported the appointment of Richard Nantel, the former CEO of Brandon Hall Group, to a senior position in Blatant Media Corporation, whose products Omniplex distributes.

In 2011 Aurum replaced their existing LMS and authoring tools with the Absorb LMS and Articulate eLearning authoring tools - supplied in combination with training by the eLearning solutions provider Omniplex. "We turned to Omniplex, which is the only company in the UK to offer the complete range of services relating to the Articulate eLearning authoring tool and is also the European distributor for the Absorb LMS", says Vicky Ziccardi, Aurum's Group Learning and Development Manager.

Matthew Lloyd, Omniplex's managing director, comments, "Ease of use and flexibility are the hallmarks of the Absorb LMS. The solution excels at delivering and tracking learning programmes for both employees and external learners, allowing an organisation to respond quickly to business requirements or market conditions."

On a related note, Blatant Media Corporation, creator of the eLearning software Absorb LMS has announced the appointment of Richard Nantel as its Vice President, Enterprise Learning Solutions. In this position, Nantel is responsible for the growth and development of enterprise client opportunities and strategic partnerships for Blatant Media and its flagship products Absorb LMS and SmartLab.

Nantel has over 25 years of experience in the learning technology, talent management, and performance improvement sectors. For the last eleven years, he has worked for Brandon Hall Group, initially as an analyst and technologist and since 2007 simultaneously as CEO.

Omniplex's managing director, Matthew Lloyd, comments, "We're delighted to have Blatant's products in our portfolio of eLearning-related products. Indeed, among the reasons for Omniplex's continued rapid growth is increased sales in North America - chiefly of the Absorb LMS - and of Absorb. Other factors include with rapid-eLearning authoring tools from Articluate, combined with the provision of training in how to use these products effectively and efficiently in the UK and the rest of Europe."
