NetDimensions Supports Chinese Casual Wear Company

Hong Kong (CN), July 2012 - NetDimensions has announced that its Talent Suite has been selected by China's largest casual wear company, Meters/bonwe, to support the firm's talent-management strategy for 20,000 employees across mainland China.

Meters/bonwe has been rapidly growing its business since it was established in 1995. To cope with this expansion, Meters/bonwe needed an integrated solution to address its employees' increasing training and talent-management requirements. "We chose NetDimensions as our strategic partner because of their expertise in developing learning and performance-management solutions", says Wu Yue, General Manager of Meters/bonwe University.

The solution must also work well with Meters/bonwe's corporate culture. The company needed a solution that not only serves as a delivery platform for learning resources; it must also enable Meters/bonwe to manage its talent database, communication with employees, and its employees' learning paths and career development.

A multi-stage talent management programme for all Meters/bonwe has divided its talent-management strategy into three stages, starting with online learning and exams for all of its employees at directly operated chain stores and subsidiaries.

The second stage targets the company's training managers at headquarters and regional training centres, focusing on optimizing blended training strategies. Finally, the company will set up a competency model that matches talent-development programs with learning resources to help develop HR and business-training personnel.
