Hack the Educational Future
Hamburg (GER), April 2017 - The ELIG Conference Series is moving to Denmark, recently ranked number one in the European Commission’s 2017 Digital Economy and Society Index. Under the theme "Hack the Educational Future", ELIG will cover the latest trends in digitization and cognitive computing.
Digitization is progressing rapidly. Our digital activities and data production are growing exponentially. As of today, 90% of the world’s data has been created in only the past two years. To make use of these vast amounts of digital information, techniques like natural language processing and deep learning are quickly gaining importance. At the same time, they are engendering entirely new digital services and insights, thus paving the way towards a new era of cognitive computing. Participants can explore the impact of this next wave of digitization on education and learning and discuss how to shape it actively.
As expected from ELIG, the organization will do so from a human-centric, design, and creative perspective with the local partners Dokk1 and Aarhus University.
Venue: Aarhus, 28-29 September 2017.
