Learning Technologies Awards Winners 2017
London (UK), December 2017 - The winners of the annual Learning Technologies Awards have been announced at a glittering ceremony in London. Over 800 people gathered at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London to celebrate the very best in learning technologies across the world. Sixty-seven gold, silver, and bronze awards were handed out during the biggest gala evening to date.
LEO won Best Learning Technologies Supplier Award, UK, with Virtual College taking silver, and HT2 Labs bronze.
The judges' thoughts were straightforward: “LEO's entry scores on every level and is very compelling. They have thought deeply about how to be the best. LEO said it wanted to do more than just deliver learning, winning tenders based on price. It says it wanted to delight customers and build loyalty through creativity and quality in even the most challenging projects.”
Based in Minneapolis, MN, USA, The Big Know won the international Best Supplier Award, impressing the judges with a beautiful combination of design, learning, and technology, which produced impressive eLearning.
Specsavers won the gold for Learning Technologies Team.
The judges said, "A learner centric team, they use insight, feedback, and testing to ensure everything they create supports a blended learning culture. This team has significantly supported sales growth." The judges were impressed with what had been achieved in just two years, demonstrating clear improvements for the business in terms of costs and improved performance.
Entries were received from across the globe, with around thirty countries taking part. The full list of 2017 winners is available on the Learning Technologies Awards website.

Entries for the 2018 programme will be open from March 2018, and the closing date is 29 June 2018. The gala evening will again be held in London on; the date is 21 November 2018.
