Personalised Assessment Centre

London (UK), June 2010 - CrossKnowledge has joined forces with eGoPrism®, launching a solution to help HR departments, temping, and recruitment agencies - or even job centres - to address the major challenge they face in terms of accompaniment: implementing the large-scale individualisation of assessment programmes.

With the demise of pyramid-like organisational structures, today each individual must take an active role in her or his professional performance and development. It is vital that organisations take into account the specific talents and key motivating factors of each individual in order to create extremely high-performance teams.

Yet, the key players within the HR sector have neither the tools to enable them to obtain a clear panorama of the potential of each individual within the company nor the adequate training programmes associated with each profile.

In order to rise to the challenge, CrossKnowledge has joined forces with the personal development specialists eGoPrism® to develop the 'CrossKnowledge Assessment Centre' solution. The tool can be used globally, as it is deployed entirely online and can be broken down into two main phases:

  • The first evaluation stage, which enables any individual (whether in current employment or not), to obtain a clear analysis of his or her personal strengths and talents and potential areas for development, as well as to identify the factors that are susceptible to either motivate or demotivate.

    Armed with this information, the individual will be able to make more informed career choices and is able to adapt to her or his current professional environment in a more resourceful manner. The solution even offers users the option of a debriefing with a remote coach, together with whom she or he is able to interpret the results diagram and devise an extremely precise, individualised action plan.
  • The second development stage involves offering the candidate a 100% personalised online training programme based on the skills to develop as identified by the initial assessment.

The CrossKnowledge Assessment Centre tool presents five key points:

  1. It automatically offers a 100% individualised training course online;
  2. It gives feedback on concrete professional situations and is therefore immediately operational; it goes far beyond the psychological tests invented in the 1960s;
  3. It is "dynamic" and can be used for continuous assessment in order to detect progression and changes in competency level over time;
  4. Contrary to the majority of other assessments, which simply allocate each individual to a pre-existing category, the diagnostic is completely personalised;
  5. The solution can be entirely customised to meet the specific requirements of a company or institution and its own particular set of skill standards.

The CrossKnowledge Assessment Centre is based on the eGoPrism® diagram of human potentials. This online evaluation method uses a typology of twelve relational and personal areas of potential, which together allow the measurement of an individual's strengths and talents and the extent to which these are productively applied at work. After the completion of a thirty-minute questionnaire, a diagnostic accompanied by numerous commentaries is automatically generated online.
