ELearning Induction Programme from CM Group
Bristol (UK) / Seattle, WA (US), February 2014 - CM Group, one of the UK's largest providers of bespoke eLearning, has announced that QNB, a leading Middle Eastern bank, has gone live with its new innovative eLearning induction programme.
The new digital learning programme forms part of QNB’s comprehensive new starter curriculum and has been designed to improve the engagement and learning experiences of QNB’s staff across the Middle East. As one of the world’s leading financial institutions, QNB wanted a complete end-to-end solution that was educationally effective, highly innovative, and very engaging for new starters.
The induction programme is available in English and Arabic and is delivered via CM Group’s next- generation learning-management system, Luminosity Reach.
As well as its extensive eLearning creation capability, CM Group has a large and well-regarded software-development team, and it was this in-house team of technical experts who designed and programed the innovative 3D learning-management-system interface. The new interface adds elements of gamification to the induction programme and provides a 3600 3D environment, which the learner explores to find different learning assets in a variety of formats. The 3D interface and multiple learning assets were designed to encourage learners to explore and build their learning experience themselves. One of the valuable features of the system is that all the learning assets are SCORM and Tin Can tracked to provide full reporting of learner activities.
Tim Buff, CEO and Chief Learning Strategist at CM Group said, "Working with QNB we have been able to develop an induction programme that’s a significant step forward from traditional eLearning. Using Luminosity Studio, our eLearning authoring tool, we have been able to work quickly and collaboratively to develop a range of high-quality and engaging HTML5-based eLearning courses. We have added to these a whole range of digital learning assets, as well as the innovative 3600 3D interface to our highly flexible next-generation learning-management System, Luminosity Reach, to provide a new and compelling induction experience for QNB’s new staff."
