NetDimensions Selected by Thales Training
London (UK), January 2014 - NetDimensions, a global provider of performance, knowledge, and learning-management systems, has been selected by Thales Training & Consultancy to increase the company's success with clients and grow their managed training-services business.
Thales Training & Consultancy is part of the Thales Group, with over 68,000 employees globally. The company is renowned for being a highly successful training-services provider, serving leading organisations in defense, construction, and transportation in the UK and Europe.
To be able to meet the varied needs of the Thales UK employees and its external clients, Thales Training & Consultancy needed a learning-management system that is able to run multiple, customised client portals from one central system in order to offer a highly personalised learning experience to each one of the company’s clients. The LMS also had to connect with other systems within Thales Training & Consultancy, and it had to meet their strict security requirements.
"We needed high levels of flexibility to tailor the system based on specific requirements of our various clients. In addition, a strong capability in project management for implementation and rollout was critical to us. We were looking for a provider with excellent references in B2B environments in the L&D sector," explained Rachel Kay, Managing Director of Thales Training & Consultancy.
After an intensive evaluation process, NetDimensions Learning was selected, ultimately because of the high quality and rich feature set of the product, as well as because of its unique configuration and customisation capabilities.
"NetDimensions was able to provide the technology that is best suited to our needs as both a provider of L&D managed service solutions and the ability to support our back-office processes," said Kay. "We needed a great product to put in front of our clients. NetDimensions Learning offers a high level of flexibility to 'skin' our client portals to meet our clients’ needs, as well as the flexibility to tailor the technology when required. By using NetDimensions Learning, our clients can ensure that their employees meet all compliance requirements and that key strategic programmes are linked to the right individuals in the organisation."
Liam Butler, General Manager EMEA at NetDimensions commented, "We are committed to continually evolving the technical capabilities of our products to be able to provide our clients a 'leading-edge' technology. We are proud to work with Thales Training & Consultancy to help them enhance their managed-services business, which in turn will benefit their clients."
