New Version of Interactivity Design Software Raptivity
Redmond, WA (USA), July 2011 - Harbinger Knowledge Products has announced the release of a new version of its flagship interactivity-building software, Raptivity. The new version, 6.5, includes a string of features that enable more flexibility and extensibility for eLearning course creators to design interactive courses.
The new release sports several exciting features. While some of the incorporated features are ideas derived from customer feedback, others are designed to offer greater flexibility to the interactivity templates. The two core packs, Essential and Zest, now come with a new media toolbox that allows users to add additional media such as videos, images, textbox, and buttons to the interactions.
eLearning course creators can now incorporate additional media objects within the Raptivity interactions for an enhanced professional look. After releasing mobile publishing in its core Essential Pack last year, this release now extends the feature to five more packs out of the total fourteen.
The new customizability in the six product packs is christened "FlexiRaptivity", in keeping with the theme of flexibility afforded by the new design. Seema Chaudhary, President of Harbinger Knowledge Products, comments, "What is required of a rapid development tool is constantly evolving among the course designer community. Over the last year, we have spoken to numerous customers and evaluated their feedback and request for new features. We are very pleased to announce that many of the new feature additions in this release are a result of these valuable customer suggestions."
Features that are a direct result of customer feedback include video support, blank template option, right-to-left language support, hyperlinking capability, and the much-awaited ability to support greater text length.
