Reducing administrative time for ThirdBrain™
Cheltenham (UK), May 2013 - Worcester-based technical-training specialists Quanta have grown significantly since their inception in 1991. What was once a one-man band focusing primarily on UNIX systems, the business now operates a dedicated training centre and offers three core training solutions, PDPs, IT training, and professional services, to an impressive range of clients including the BBC, Lloyds TSB, Capita, and HP.
However, training delivery and bookings management wasn’t always plain sailing for Quanta. Before implementing the ES solution, their clients would have to refer to the static website for information, and then telephone in to make a course booking. Donna White-Bower, Project Manager at Quanta comments, "Apart from this being long winded, the static nature of the website meant the information could be out of date, so when the customer phoned to book, we would have to start from the beginning." To overcome these time-consuming obstacles, the training company required a training-booking and event-management tool that could enable delegates to book online with visibility of real-time information regarding course availability.
Over the course of the partnership, Enterprise Study has delivered numerous tangible benefits to Quanta. Both bookings management and customer-relationship management have become much more streamlined, and it is now far easier for the training company to track a delegate’s journey through to the evaluations stage of the course. The system is also utilised for resource and diary management; whereas before trainers diaries were done on a white board, which led to mistakes, Quanta can now avoid any double bookings.
Automated processes and communications have not only reduced the workload for Quanta, but have also ensured greater accuracy, which has had a direct positive impact on customer value, as explained by Donna White-Bower: "We aim to make the customer journey as smooth as possible, so having the confidence that the information the customer receives is up to date and in real time has real value to the business."
Henry Jodrell, Managing Director of Enterprise Study is delighted at the long-lasting partnership with Quanta. "Working with Quanta over these past ten years has been a real benefit to Enterprise Study. They have helped us to design core process mapping and functionality, as well as the learning network. The result of this collaboration is a powerful-yet-inexpensive training-administration tool that delivers efficiency in the training booking and management processes. ES is in great appreciation of all the team at Quanta."
