To Consolidate Learning across Twenty Countries
Rocky Hill, CT (USA), November 2015 - PATH, an international nonprofit global health organisation headquartered in Seattle, WA, has selected NetDimensions Learning to manage training of more than 1,300 staff at offices in 44 cities across 20 countries.
PATH previously managed training records in two separate learning-management systems (LMSs). One system served internal PATH staff, while the other tracked the training of external learners from various partner organisations. The decision was made to implement a consolidated learning solution to control costs and make reporting easier and more efficient.
The search for a new LMS involved cross-departmental collaboration led by PATH’s learning and talent-development team. The team was tasked with finding one system that could offer capabilities that serve PATH’s diverse learner communities and provide a user experience tailored to each group. The new LMS will track compliance and certifications, integrate with PATH’s existing human resource information system, and provide robust reporting functionality, as mandated by the various agencies and the countries in which PATH operates.
"We work with a variety of governments, clinics, and ministries of health worldwide," said Shannon Dowd, Manager of Global Learning Technologies at PATH. "We needed one central place to report on all of our learning, from basic HR courses to ethics and international research standards. NetDimensions Learning has the flexibility to meet the needs of our diverse learner communities."
