Training-Needs-Analysis Tool launched by EssentialSkillz
Milton Keynes (UK) / Galway (IR), September 2012 - Global health and safety eLearning provider EssentialSkillz has launched a new training-needs-analysis tool that simplifies the process of identifying training requirements and enrolling staff on courses.
Identifying the health and safety training requirements for each employee across any business is a daunting task. What if the organisation has 500, 1000, or even more employees? What if the organisation is based across a number of sites, and each site has its own unique training requirements? The task becomes almost unmanageable.
EssentialSkillz has addressed the issue with an innovative new tool as part of their learning- management system, O-LAS.
Compliance in three simple steps
The company says that the tool is a simple three-step process.
Step 1 - Employees complete a simple online assessment of their training requirements, which takes just a few minutes.
Step 2 - The information is automatically collated by the LMS to show the number of employees who require each training course. Then, using the unique functionality built into the LMS, the employees are batch enrolled on their eLearning courses in one click.
Step 3 - The employees complete the eLearning and the records are recorded in the LMS.
All questions in the online assessment are editable by each organisation, enabling businesses to customise the tool to their own unique requirements. The eLearning courses are also fully editable allowing for images, text, and links to be changed or added.
EssentialSkillz has a range of 28 eLearning courses, all of which are fully compatible with the new tool.
"The cost and time savings possible with this tool are incredible", commented Julian Roberts, Managing Director at EssentialSkillz. "Trying to identify the health and safety training needs across large organisations is a very challenging task. This tool provides a fast and highly effective way of not only identifying the training needs, but also enrolling the employees on their required courses, direct from the report", he added.
