Graz (AT), July 2009 - I-KNOW '09, the ninth International Conference on Knowledge Management and Knowledge Technologies will take place from September 2-4, 2009 in Graz, Austria. I-KNOW brings together international researchers from the fields of knowledge management and knowledge technologies (English-speaking scientific part) and practitioners (German-speaking industry part, Praxisforum).
Klaus Tochtermann and Hermann Maurer, both of the University of Technology in Graz, will chair the conference.
Opening and closing keynotes, an international cooperation event, and a conference-wide exhibition make up the I-KNOW conference program. I-KNOW '09 will be held concurrently with I-SEMANTICS '09 - International Conference on Semantic Systems. This special concept aims at bridging the gaps between the various communities and their technology fields.
I-KNOW offers its participants a unique platform either to present the latest and leading-edge developments or to catch up with the developments of the most innovative IT technologies, content applications, knowledge-management trends, and emerging market opportunities.
The program includes about ninety scientific presentations from all over the world. A German-speaking industry track offers another thirty industry presentations and an exhibition. The presentations cover, but are not limited to, the following topics:
