Learning Forum London 2010 - ePortfolio for All!
London (UK), March 2010 - To understand how ePortfolios are transforming learning, and how far away the ePortfolio fall all goal is, join the Learning Forum London, 05-07 July 2010. The event features ePortfolio 2010, with a special track on healthcare, as well as Key Competencies 2010, an international conference on skills for life with a focus on 21st century skills and competencies.
In 2003, during the first international ePortfolio conference, EIfEL set the challenge that by 2010, every European citizen should have access to an ePortfolio. Since then, the work on ePortfolio has expanded to include personal learning environments, personal knowledge management systems, as well as digital identity (digital self) and identity construction.
More than mere technology, the ePortfolio has been a catalyst to the transformation of our views on the impact of learning and learning technologies: technologies are not just neutral tools; they transform the way we perceive and interact with reality. They are change agents.
These are 2010s ePortfolio Themes:
- ePortfolio in healthcare education and practice
- ePortfolio in initial education and personal-identity construction
- ePortfolio in employability and organisational learning
- ePortfolio, policies, and implementation
- ePortfolio, technologies, and system architectures
The Key Competencies Themes are:
- Key competencies - policies
- Key competencies - for active citizenship
- Key competencies - for employability and economic innovation
- Key competencies - development
- Key competencies - recognition and accreditation
