Docebo Releases its LMS Joomla "Open Source"
Naples (I), June 2013 - Docebo, a global eLearning solutions provider has released the Joomla "open source" integration plug-in for the Docebo eLearning platform. The application allows organizations around the globe to transform their Joomla websites into a next-generation eLearning portal by interfacing the Docebo eLearning platform with any Joomla-enabled website.
Furthermore, the integration plug-in will allow Joomla site owners to import their CMS users into the Docebo Learning Management System. Docebo has also enabled a Joomla widget that shows users the courses they are enrolled in within the Docebo platform.
As one of the first companies that is able to offer a comprehensive eLearning ecosystem, Docebo is moving from a "product" to a "service" approach, the next big thing that will become an industry standard within the next couple of years. Docebo's free Joomla integration plug-in can be added in the Joomla administration area, or it can be downloaded from the Docebo.com website.
"Docebo is globally disrupting the eLearning market by consistently innovating its product offerings with new releases such as the unique Docebo App Marketplace," says Claudio Erba - CEO and founder of Docebo. "We have released this Joomla plug-in under the Open Source license because we believe in Joomla developers’ contribution to the Open community, and we want to give them the opportunity to work on this plug-in to help us improve the Docebo eLearning experience from a Joomla user standpoint".
