OMRON Implements NetDimensions Learning
Rocky Hill, CT (USA), September 2013 - NetDimensions, a global provider of performance, knowledge, and learning-management systems, has announced that OMRON Management Center of America Inc. (OMCA) has successfully implemented NetDimensions Learning to centralize and improve the learning experience across all of the company's workforce in the Americas.
OMCA employs nearly 2,500 people in the Americas in various individual business companies to provide innovative products and advanced technologies to customers in a variety of industries. "One important goal of OMCA is to ensure that OMRON employees throughout the Americas receive consistent, standardized, and effective compliance, legal, and other training," said Nigel Blakeway, CEO of OMCA.
OMCA wanted a robust learning-management system (LMS) that allows both local and regionally remote workforces to receive training efficiently and have their training records accurately and easily tracked and retrieved in order to meet compliance and audit requirements. OMCA evaluated several different vendors and chose NetDimensions Learning because it was easy to use and offered a wide range of compliance functionality at a competitive price. Moreover, NetDimensions Learning is a multilingual LMS, which satisfied the needs of their diverse workforce in the Americas.
"NetDimensions was the clear winner after a yearlong rigorous vetting process," said Christina Connelly, Director of Human Resources of OMCA. "We are excited to have our employees begin using the system".
Mark Sanmarco, Senior Vice President at NetDimensions said, "We are very proud to have been chosen by OMRON as the learning-solution provider for their workforce in the Americas. NetDimensions Learning and NetDimensions Talent Suite are clear winners in highly regulated industries where corporate, regulatory, and legal requirements are a priority."
