GenScript Rolls Out Corporate Learning Platform
Shanghai (CN) China, October 2013 - NetDimensions, a global provider of performance, knowledge, and learning-management systems, has announced that GenScript has rolled out NetDimensions Learning as its corporate learning and knowledge-management platform. GenScript will use the platform to manage and maintain the wealth of domain knowledge it has accumulated over the years and to promote and disseminate its corporate culture to more than 1,300 employees.
Established in 2002, GenScript is a leading global biology CRO (Contract Research Organization) focusing on early drug discovery and development services.
GenScript’s eLearning-platform project leader Liu Mingming and his team spent a year screening and evaluating many domestic and international LMS providers. NetDimensions won the trust of the GenScript team because of the strong product features of NetDimensions Learning, the company’s global experience and reputation in the learning industry, and the support and services provided by the professional-services team of NetDimensions China.
"Two other key factors influenced us to choose NetDimensions," said Liu. "First, NetDimensions Learning is a multilingual system that can support GenScript’s international learning-and-development strategy." Headquartered in the US, GenScript also has operations in China, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
"Another factor is NetDimensions’ successful implementations for leading brands within the pharmaceutical industry. These success stories really helped convince us that NetDimensions is the right partner for GenScript," explained Liu.
NetDimensions China’s technical-support team completed the installation, set up, and integration with GenScript’s HR system, administrator training, and deployment of the platform in just a few days. GenScript is currently preparing its courseware and eLearning content for initial launch of the platform this September for new employee on-boarding training and then for deployment to all employees worldwide.
"In the long term, we will expand the use of the platform to host soft-skills training programs for junior staff and compliance-training programs within the company. We expect to make significant progress in transforming our entire corporate training and knowledge-management strategy by the end of the year," concluded Liu.
