The pressures on training managers are changing fast. They are caught between the financial needs of the organisation and the training needs of staff. Now that economic conditions appear to be worsening, budgets can be at risk, and managers are obliged to show the value of every euro they spend. One way to add value effectively is eLearning, which allows busy workers flexible access to learning and helps companies deliver training more economically.

Trivantis' authoring software, Lectora, enables training-content owners to create rich and interactive multimedia eLearning and communications materials. Drawing from university and corporate examples, the speaker, Prof. Michael Marmann from the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf, will explain how learning programs can be planned and implemented more efficiently. All the examples to be presented are based on development projects using the authoring software tool Lectora.
