Learning Technologies Must Play Crucial Role

Brighton (UK), May 2011 - Brightwave has launched a new series of videos featuring leading figures from the world of workplace learning to share success stories and lessons learned. The videos also explore how learning technologies can support fast-changing business practices in the next decade.

Interviewees including Donald H. Taylor, (Chair of the Learning and Skills Group and the Institute of IT Training) and Kenny Henderson (Head of Talent Development Operations, Sky) expound the impact learning technologies have had over the last ten years. They also consider changes that should have happened but have yet to materialize and - perhaps most importantly - look at how L&D can improve their chances of success.

Other interviewees in the series examine and analyse best practice through award-winning eLearning and the impact these projects have had upon the business. Industry experts include Laura Overton (Managing Director, Towards Maturity) and PricewaterhouseCooper LLP's Jon Walters (Director Responsible for Independence), and Nicki Knight (Compliance Training Manager) - with more to follow.

The videos are part of Brightwave's "What a difference 10 years makes" campaign, marking the tenth anniversary of the workplace-eLearning specialist that is committed to delivering a measurable business impact. The campaign's objectives are to celebrate success and existing best practice in learning technologies whilst exploring how learning professionals need to engage with the wider business - as well as innovate - to make the most of learning technologies in the next decade.
