Raytheon Offers BTEC Apprenticeship Programme
Milton Keynes (UK), May 2011 - Raytheon Professional Services LLC (RPS), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company, is the first provider in the U.K. to launch a recognised Business and Administration Apprenticeship programme delivered in a virtual classroom environment with a collaborative learning approach.
Students earn a Business Technology and Education Council (BTEC) Apprenticeship Certification in Business and Administration upon completion. The apprenticeship provides participants with an alternative to an academic education in a working environment where they can jump-start their careers with a fun, hands-on, quality programme. Employers benefit from a recognised education programme that enables apprentices to quickly operate efficiently and effectively in the workplace.
"The virtual classroom training delivery makes our apprenticeship programme fully work based, integrating learning into the day-to-day activities of the apprentice's job", comments Paul Swinscoe, RPS business development director. "Instead of losing hours to off-site study, managers and apprentices can actively participate in the training process whilst the apprentices gain valuable skills to apply to their work situations."
All management qualifications are accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), the UK's premier awarding body for leadership and management qualifications. All apprenticeships are awarded by BTEC, the Business and Technology Education Council and EDEXCEL, the UK's largest awarding body offering academic and vocational qualifications and testing to schools, colleges, employers, and other places of learning in the UK and internationally.
