Brandon Hall Rewards the Best in Learning Technology
San Jose, CA (USA), May 2010 - Since 1992, Brandon Hall Research has been providing independent research reports and expert advice on using technology in learning. The Learning Technology Awards program showcases product innovations in the marketplace for creating and managing learning, talent, and performance. The most awards for any singe product were won by Upside Learning, which received one Gold and two Silver awards for UpsideLMS, its flagship learning management system. Upside Learning picked up Gold in Best Advance in "Learning Management Technology for Blended or Informal Learning", Silver in "Best Advance in Social Learning Technology", and another Silver in "Best Advance in Learning Management Technology for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses".

Caspian Leaning struck Gold in two categories for its pioneering Thinking Worlds rapid 3D authoring tool. The company received the awards in the category "Best Advance in 3-D or Immersive Learning Technology" and in the category "Best Advance in Technology for Game or Simulation Authoring".
Earlier this month, Caspian Learning announced the release of Thinking Worlds 3.3, the latest version of the 3D authoring tool, which boasts several new features.

Xyleme LCMS received one Gold award for EMC Documentum in the "Best Advance in Learning Content Management Technology" category. It was lauded as a truly innovative new product and an industry-first that eliminates the need for a stand-alone LCMS by providing learning-content management as a native application on top of EMC Documentum, the world's leading enterprise content-management platform.
NetDimensions also won Gold for the Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP) Portal Toolkit, in the "Best Advance in Learning Management Technology for External Training" category.

CERTPOINT Systems was awarded Silver in the "Best Advance in Learning Management Technology for Global Training" category. The company received the award in recognition of its work providing outstanding technology for learning programs internationally.

Cobent won a Bronze award for its flagship platform 'Learning Compliance Suite' (LCS) in the "Best Advance in Learning Management Technology for Compliance Training" category. LCS has evolved into a comprehensive learning and compliance-training management system servicing the needs of numerous global blue-chip companies.
The distributer Omniplex has announced that corporate eLearning products they supply in Europe performed extremely well at this year's Brandon Hall Awards.
