EFMD Awards Recognise Five Outstanding Partnerships
Brussels (BE), May 2010 - EFMD is an international network of business schools, companies, and consultancies. Now in its fourth year, the EFMD Excellence in Practice Awards recognise and promote outstanding partnerships between companies and learning-and-development providers.
"I would like to warmly congratulate the winners of the EFMD Excellence in Practice Award. The EFMD Award is growing in prestige, and at a time when learning and development is facing many challenges, it is extremely satisfying for EFMD to see and reward exceptional programmes, partnerships, and alliances that demonstrate the very best of what can be achieved through collaboration in executive, workforce, talent, and organizational development", says Prof. Eric Cornuel, Director General and CEO of EFMD.
The five winners will be presenting their cases during a workshop at the EFMD Annual Conference, 06-08 June 2010 in Germany.

"This year we received close to forty entries for the EFMD Excellence in Practice Awards, and despite the challenging economic times, the cases clearly show that learning-and-development efforts that focus on 'business impact' and align with the strategic priorities of the companies involved have continued. Developing people, enhancing skills, and providing a learning environment are essential components of a differentiating human-capital strategy for any company, and the diversity of the winners is testament to this", says Dr. Richard Straub, Director of Development at EFMD.
