Questionmark Offers Apple iPhone Application

Norwalk, CT (USA), May 2010 - A free Questionmark Apple iPhone App on the iPhone App Store opens up new possibilities for delivering knowledge checks, quizzes and surveys to a mobile audience. The App shows how the mobile assessment delivery capabilities in Ouestionmark Perception version 5 can help organizations reach learners using an iPhone or iPod touch.

It demonstrates how such an App, pointed toward a Perception server, can utilize Perception's auto-sensing and auto-sizing capabilities to deliver a single assessment to many different types of devices: The system auto-senses each device and its browser; then the content auto-sizes to ensure assessments appear in the right format.

The customized Questionmark iPhone Browser App is a webview wrapper application. It can be configured by Questionmark to link to a dedicated Questionmark Perception server (version 5 or above) for participants to log in and answer assessments. The user must have a data plan or wifi connection. The customized Questionmark iPhone browser app is branded for the customer and is configured to link to a specific URL that can be changed from time to time.

Features include:

  • Splash screen branded to an organization's look and feel
  • Activity indicator while page is loading in the centre of the screen as well as the status bar
  • A user interface alert that displays if no internet connectivity is available or the page could not load.
