Steven Hill - New Head of Research Services
Sheffield (UK), April 2007 - Learning Light has appointed Steven Hill to be its new Head of Research Services. His responsibility is to oversee all of Learning Light's research activities and to coordinate its research partnerships. Learning Light is a non-profit organisation seeking to establish itself as a Centre of Excellence in the use of learning technologies in the workplace.
For over sixteen years, Steven has been working in the field of modernised learning using technologies. He started building some of the first virtual learning environments linked to hospital information systems. He then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Training Manager and an eLearning specialist. Next, he moved to PA Consulting as a senior consultant in learning and development across the private and public sectors.
Steven's experience over the years has brought him into contact with many organisations and content suppliers with whom he collaborated on the major challenges to getting the best out of learning technologies in the workplace and education. He is also a Master Trainer and runs his own personal coaching business.
