HowToMoodle Expands with New London Office

London (UK), July 2009 - HowToMoodle has expanded, with the opening of a new office in Clerkenwell, London supplementing its Telford office. The company provides training, consultancy, and technical advice in the use of the open source course-management software platforn Moodle.

Director Ray Lawrence explains, "We are increasingly attracting European delegates to our face-to-face tutor-led courses and find that London's excellent transport links make it the best training location for both UK and international training and consultancy clients." Clients include charities, schools, further and higher education, small and large businesses, and the government sector.

The Moodle Course Creator (two days) and Moodle Administrator (one day) courses are available onsite or as open courses.

"As a non-technical user of Moodle, this course has given me a fantastic understanding of the platform and has reinforced that Moodle is the correct system for our organisation. I would recommend that anyone who doubts the efficiency of Moodle should attend this training-, commented Gareth Gilleeney, Learning and Development Manager.

A survey from Brightwave released in January 2009 found that money spent on eLearning will grow in 2009, while eighty per cent of the total training budgets are likely to be cut or to stay the same. Ray adds, "With blended learning definitely the order of the day, the ability of a system such as Moodle to integrate Web 2.0 tools such as wikis and discussion forums is also a big pull for organisations that realize the importance of Learning 2.0 for reinforcing learning and sharing knowledge."
