Learning Nexus Puts Return on Investment on the Agenda
London (UK), September 2010 - In a bid to help members achieve the successful implementation of eLearning strategies at a time when many training departments are facing resourcing challenges, eLearning-solutions provider Learning Nexus has put return on investment (ROI) on the eLearning Alliance AGM's agenda.
The eLearning Alliance is a membership-based organisation for anyone interested in eLearning in Scotland. The Learning Nexus presentation on Wednesday, 01 September was based on the first-hand experience of a Learning Nexus customer and had a specific focus on health-and-safety training.
The practical case study provided real insight into eLearning measurement issues and demonstrated specific learning outcomes and significant return on investment, sharing best practice within these areas with all attending members. In particular, the session addressed
- the challenge faced by organisations to deliver training with lean budgets
- the approaches that can be taken to ensure successful implementation
- outcomes - how to demonstrate real cost savings to the organisation.
The presentation was given by Learning Nexus Regional Manager Debra Hicks, who comments, "The session established how eLearning is effectively being used by thousands of learners in Scotland and across the UK to enhance learning in an ever changing and demanding environment. It explored ways of achieving a real return on eLearning investment."
