Learning Industry Salaries Continue to Rise
London (UK), February 2023 - Blue Eskimo's eleventh annual Work & Salary Survey reveals that industry salaries continued to rise in 2022 - and by wider margins than ever before.
Blue Eskimo, a specialist recruitment provider to both learning providers and corporate L&D departments, has just released the results of its annual work and salary survey. Now in its eleventh year, one of the key findings of the latest survey is that L&D industry pay has increased by a level greater than in any annual period.
The survey revealed that 50% of respondents received pay rises in 2022, compared with 47% the year before. However, what was particularly notable was the level of increases: 15% of L&D professionals secured a pay rise of over 20% - and 5% of people surveyed enjoyed raises of over 40%. These represent the largest increases ever recorded by the annual query.
The survey also showed that over the last ten years, there has been a near doubling of L&D professionals earning over £100,000: 6% in 2022 compared to 3.5% in 2012.
The full survey contains many more industry insights about what L&D professionals really think about their jobs, how they feel they are treated by their employers, and potential job movements in 2023.
